We are part of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), the country's leading community development organization.What We Do:We drive capital into disinvested neighborhoods to spur economic development and job creation. We invest in commercial and community real estate projects to revitalize low-income communities, make small business loans to expand financial opportunity for entrepreneurs, and partner with like-minded institutions to create collaborative funds that drive even greater community impacts. Our work encompasses:• New Markets Tax Credits - We've managed LISC's NMTC program since 2004, helping build and rehabilitate community and commercial facilities in low-income neighborhoods. We've closed 112 NMTC investments. We also help others leverage NMTCs for maximum impact.• Fund Management - We structure and manage funds to help other organizations meet their community development goals. Whether it's a small business loan fund or a NMTC-enhanced fund for health centers, we can help.• Business Financing - We provide affordable financing up to $2 million to underserved small businesses across the country to help them grow. We offer SBA loans, microloans, and term loans.
