Society of Family Offices (SFO) is set up as an invite-only resource and network for prominent and select families and its family offices to engage on relevant market deals, investments, wealth management, social programs, and operations in dealing with family wealth.Society of Family Offices (SFO) is a network for wealth families, family offices to engage on relevant topics related to wealth management, deal investing, generational wealth management, succession, operations to philanthropy and impact initiatives. Through collaborative efforts by core members and affiliates, SFO houses a rich resource of information and best practices with family office setup and management through industry advisors and access to proprietary research and services. We also hold events and closed door roundtables to share and discuss relevant topics.SFO is currently offering a Chartered Family Office Advisor (CFOA) course that enhances professionals with the knowledge base needed to successfully manage and operate a family office. The CFOA charter is a qualification for finance and investment professionals, particularly working in family offices, private banks and advisory firms that are serving significant wealth holders and their beneficiaries. This course gives participants the broad understanding of family offices and management of wealth, alongside investments, financing, legal, regulatory, and basic economic concepts. This program has a global focus across various countries in its taxation or law, and will examine universal wealth management concepts. Attendees will also gain an in-depth understanding of the importance of due diligence concepts along with the necessity of working with other finance and legal professionals in advising and managing family office.
