People for Heritage Concern focuses on management and design of heritage sites. Our conservation ideology is to treat heritage as a resource for present-day and future development. We are interested in creating opportunity to make the historical built form an explicit part of contemporary architectural production. Design here is envisaged as an active interface between history and contemporary urbanscape. Our design philosophy encourages subjective experiences of the visitors. We address these concerns by observing and documenting historical evidence, critiquing that evidence from cultural theoretical lens, and eventually translating that sensitivity to a contemporary design agenda. We are dedicated to information dissemination and cultural education of the visitors about heritage sites. For this we develop innovative artistic methods to make historical research accessible to community. We promote collaborative processes of design decisions, especially when heritage sites are driven by complex stakeholder politics.
