PRUVIA Inc., a startup company developing a web-based platform and mobile app to serve global medical tourists. Pruvia's business model is the hybrid of Amazon and Expedia. Pruvia web-based platform helps global patients easily search and compare various medical services and tourism options. Pruvia is an offspring of a former defense contractor, Advanced Media Research, which developed a virtual training system for the U.S. Navy and Air Force. Pruvia is now a team of experts in computer science, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). Pruvia strives to apply these branches of technology to solve the problems in global medical tourism.When planning for medical travel, many customers are intimidated by the language barriers and the daunting task of gathering information on all different aspects of the journey, such as finding reliable hospitals, after-care services, flight, hotel, ground transportation, payment method, telephone/internet access, etc. At Pruvia, we develop a web-based platform to dramatically simplify the whole process. There are three parties to the platform: (1) medical tourists, (2) service providers, such as hospitals and clinics, and (3) service enablers, such as interpreters and tour guides. Pruvia works to create a one-stop solution for medical tourists to easily access the best options for every step of their travel. Pruvia will also benefit the service providers and service enablers to grow their customer base by gaining exposure to more potential customers.Using ML and AI in the Pruvia platform, we can streamline the process of medical travel and provide the medical tourists with better service, while consolidating and automating the information sharing process between service providers and service enablers.
