At Schools Today we're on a mission to ensure that all school communities are empowered to promote and support good mental health and wellbeing from within. Our approach is collaborative and bespoke, catering for the individual needs of every school we work with. We provide a whole-community approach, addressing the wellbeing of staff and parents as well as pupils. We equip schools with a strong, integrated network of professionals and systems that establishes the foundations for the school to build on, without requiring further support. This creates a robust environment in which the mental health and resilience of children and young adults can flourish. Ultimately, our goal is to develop a generation of pupils who understand mental health, prioritise wellbeing and know when and how to access the right support throughout their lives. With the right skills and guidance, this new generation can and will thrive. Our founder, Bee Tussaud, is a London based therapist specialising in individual, family and organisational work. She leads the pastoral and safeguarding aspects of the governorship at a large London secondary school where she has seen first-hand the challenges that teachers, pupils and parents face. In response to this, she founded Schools Today to enable a greater number of schools to respond to these challenges and improve the lives of their pupils, staff and parents.
