SpeakEASY with Sophie is a Devon-based Speech and Language Therapy service for children aged 2 to 6 years old. It was created by Sophie Johns in early- 2021, as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact it has had on children's access to specialist services, including Speech and Language Therapy. SpeakEASY with Sophie aims to improve the lives of children by equipping them with the skills to establish and maintain effective communication, through targeted and tailored assessment and intervention. Additionally, SpeakEASY with Sophie works closely with families to ensure that Speech Therapy goals are meaningful and manageable for you and your child. It is Sophie's ethos that Speech Therapy should be fun, engaging and encouraging to help boost the confidence and self-esteem of children with speech, language and communication needs.
