Mitsubishi Electric R&D Centre Europe is the European R&D centre providing advanced R&D support to the Japanese R&D labs and to Mitsubishi Electric Corporation business units in the domains of Communication & Information Systems and Power Electronic Systems thanks to highly qualified researchers. As an industrial laboratory, we combine long-term research with applied research resulting in contributions in international standards, development of proprietary technologies for in-house products. Our mission is to focus on next generations of products and to develop innovative solutions & advanced expertise to answer the fast evolution of technologies, of services and of customers' needs. For Communication & Information Systems division, the aim is to design high-reliability communication technologies and software methodologies targeting factory automation, automotive, railway, satellite, and access network fields.For Power Electronic Systems division, the aim is to design highly integrated and health management technologies targeting sustainable power modules, power systems and motor drive applications.Mitsubishi Electric R&D Centre Europe values open innovation through direct collaborations with academic research teams (labs, universities, engineering schools) all over Europe and through joint research and development programs with other actors in the framework of French or European projects.
