Flume is developing monitoring systems for the vital resources we use everyday. Our first consumer product is focused on reducing water consumption and bringing down costly water fines. We've developed a smart device that noninvasively attaches to an existing water meter and transmits real time usage data to all of the user's devices. The user the ability to setup usage notifications, receive leak warnings, view historical and real time usages, and see a breakdown of water using appliances. We are a small startup of business minded engineers located in San Luis Obispo. Our product is non-invasive and simply attaches to an existing water meter without requiring professional installation. The Flume application allows the homeowner to budget their water consumption, compare their usage to similar households and record events such as irrigation. Most importantly our application protects homes from elusive and devastating water leaks that, until now, often go unnoticed for weeks. We streamline the entire process from leak detection to repair.
