As a nonprofit devoted to fostering education, scientific research, and dissemination of information in the physiological sciences, we focus on supporting our 10,000+ members in their efforts to solve the major problems affecting life and health. Most APS members have doctoral degrees in physiology and/or medicine (or other health professions).APS is headquartered in Rockville, Md.
