We are a school of inquiry, innovation, and impact. Grounded in Christian values, we prepare all students to be college-ready, globally competitive, and engaged citizen leaders. The curriculum of Mount Vernon is heavily influenced by the principles of Design Thinking and accomplished by the concepts of Project Based Learning. By focusing on solving people-centered problems, Mount Vernon's students are gaining real-world skills today. By working with companies and non-profits such as Delta, Porsche, Chick-fil-a, Magic Wheelchair Project, City of Sandy Springs, and the Center for Civil and Human Rights, Mount Vernon Students are getting out of the classroom and making real change. How might we empower all learners to be seekers and explorers? How might we inspire one another, and the larger world, through the work we undertake together? The School serves over 1,250 students (Preschool-Grade 12) across two campuses.
