Richland County Government is the governing body for the county areas in the center of South Carolina. Richland County includes the capitol city of Columbia as well as six smaller municipalities. The county is located roughly halfway between Greenville and Charleston, and roughly halfway between Charlotte, NC and Augusta, GA.
