BÖHM PLAST-TECHNIK a.s. (BPT) was founded in 1991 in Česká Třebová, Czech Republic. We supply a wide range of products to our automotive customers across Europe and the World. Besides plastic injection molding, we offer metallization, galvanization, tool shop, construction, assembly and logistic. BPT has two production facilities. Both plants are equipped together with 21 precision machines, mainly of the ENGEL brand, but also other brands, with clamping forces ranging from 200 tones to 1500 tones. We also focus on the production of complex and simple shaped parts from tooling steel. We use professional software programs and the latest CNC machines. The range of activities of our tool shop consists of assembly/dis-assembly, repairs, modifications, spot pressing, service maintenance, polishing, laser welding, etc. Our construction department offers molds development up to 10 tones, and molds development coordination up to 16 tones. Additionally, can provide 3D data updating and has a laboratory with 3D scanner. Furthermore, we offer assembly and sub-assembly work, where if the component is made up of more than one part, even non-plastic parts, we can provide a cost-effective solution to supply and assemble of your products to satisfy the customer. Another service that we provide is Metallization, a method for surface treatment of plastics by vacuum evaporation. It is the deposition of a very thin layer of metal by vaporization in a high vacuum environment. It's used to achieve a highly reflective effect of polished surfaces or for decorative purposes especially in the automotive industry. Beside metallization, we offer galvanization, which is another chemical process for converting plastic surfaces. This process improves product properties such as wear resistance, electromagnetic compatibility and UV resistance. Applying several layers of nickel, copper or chromium, based on automotive standards, according to precise specifications and requests of customers.
