Garden to Table is a charitable trust that supports primary and intermediate schools and kura to take learning out of the classroom and into the garden and the kitchen. Our schools teach thousands of kiwi kids knowledge and skills that have a transformative and lifelong impact on their hauora — wellbeing — and on the world around them. All around the country, we want to see children enthusiastically getting their hands dirty and learning how to grow, harvest, prepare and share fresh, seasonal food.The first three Auckland schools delivering the programme in 2009 has now grown to a nation-wide family of schools, empowering more than 14,000 children with practical skills.Want to know more about becoming Garden to Table School or Organisation?
