AppGenex Diagnostics develops and provides multiplexed products for the diagnosis of infectious disease. We have a pipeline of human clinical and laboratory animal diagnostic products. Our main product is a tuberculosis (TB) serodetection panel intended as a first-line test for use in hospitals and clinics with high volumes of potential TB patients. This panel is inexpensive, rapid, and high-throughput and can be run from patient samples consisting of a few drops of blood collected from a finger pinprick. The blood sample is processed directly or spotted on filter paper and stored/transported for later reconstitution and testing. These sample collection options give the test ease of use in almost any setting, particularly in countries where TB is endemic and the healthcare infrastructure is limited. This panel is currently in late stage validation in India.
