OPS Engineers (previously known as Perrett Simpson) are a trusted, respected and broadly experienced consultancy that has worked with many of Melbourne's most highly regarded architectural practices since 1984.Re-branded as OPS Engineers in January 2020, the new name for the consultancy reflects the already four-year partnership of Alan O'Driscoll, Gai Palmer and Dale Simpson, and follows on from more than a decade of the three partners working togetherOPS Engineers specialise in innovative and intelligent engineering design solutions that support the architects design intent and respects the client's goals. We utilise our significant experience to ensure the most appropriate, cost-effective and project specific solutions are applied to every project to ensure a high-quality, elegant and sustainable build.We pride ourselves on our skilled, responsive, and creative engineering advice and ability to follow through with accurate, efficient, quality design and documentation on all of our projects.Our approach to projects is unlike other practices in that we understand the importance of architectural detailing and like to work closely with the architect throughout the course of the project to ensure our solutions are complimentary to the architectural vision.
