Culture Shock® Washington, D.C. adds value and depth to the artistic and cultural scene in the Washington, D.C.-area.ARTIST DEVELOPMENTCulture Shock® DC empowers company members to achieve artistic and personal excellence through training, development, and performance opportunities in Hip Hop dance. Weekly, open classes are taught both by company members and world-renowned guest choreographers. To foster budding artistry Culture Shock® DC adult troupe members provide mentorship to youth members.COMMUNITY ENRICHMENTCulture Shock® engages in community outreach through performances in schools, complimentary performances and dance education to community organizations. Company members also volunteer with public and non-profit organizations in service of needing populations in the community. Participation in our youth programs offer safe, social development through rewarding activity, confidence-building, and a positive environment.
