We are an ecological consultancy with a specialism in ornithology, providing expert, cost-effective advice and solutions relating to protected species in the UK and worldwide. The Directors Tristan Evans, Stephen Wilson and Mark Gash are all experienced and committed ecologists, with specialist expertise in ornithology. All of the team at Turnstone Ecology have managed and conducted ecological surveys and assessments throughout the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. We are experienced in all aspects of survey work, reporting and assessment to meet your legislative and conservation requirements. Our services include Ecological Scoping, Phase 1 Surveys, Protected Species Surveys (e.g. Badger, bats, Dormouse, Otter, Water Vole, Great Crested Newt and reptiles) and Environmental Impact Assessments. Ornithology is our specialism, and we have a wealth of experience and expertise in bird population survey methods and assessments, collision risk assessment for wind farms and research, both in the UK and overseas. We can provide advice and solutions to all industry sectors including renewable energy, commercial infrastructure and building developments. We also have the knowledge and expertise to conduct ecological research for government and other organisations.
