Sophisticated, yet whimsical men's 100% silk ties, dry goods, and accessories designed by Illustrator and Owner Steve Mayer in Chicago, Illinois. All of Bird Dog Bay Neckwear starts with a blank sheet of paper and designer, Steve Mayer's lucky retractable pencil. There's no exact science to where his ideas and themes materialize. He simply designs neckwear that he thinks is witty, fun and would proudly wear himself. The ties are all 100% 18 momme silk twill, handprinted and handmade. They're just a hair longer than most regular ties, cut to 58" long and 3 1/4" wide at their widest spot on the front apron. All of our ties have a long center-stitched self loop & have our Bird Dog Bay custom tipping.
