The National Council for Law Reporting is semi-autonomous State Corporation established under the National Council for Law Reporting Act No. 11 of 1994. The mandate of the Council is to publish the decisions of the superior courts of Kenya (in the form of the official Kenya Law Reports) and to revise, consolidate and publish the Laws of Kenya and other related information. The Council is a focal point institution in providing access to Kenya's public legal information.The Vision of the Council is: "Accessible Public Legal Information towards an Enlightened Society."The Mission of the Council is: "To Provide Universal Access to Kenya's Public Legal Information by Monitoring and Reporting on the Development of Jurisprudence for the Promotion of the Rule of Law."The Council is led by a Board of Directors chaired by The Hon. the Chief Justice of the Republic of Kenya and has a secretariat based at the A.C.K Garden Annex, 5th Floor, 1st Ngong Avenue, Ngong Road, in Nairobi, Kenya.
