New Beginning Ministry was founded in 1997 as a nonprofit corporation, overseen by a non-denominational Christian ministry's Board of Directors.The goal is to help save lives. Our residential addiction recovery program is a faith based, evidence based, twelve-step model for recovery. Our 6.5 acre facility is located in the Poconos of PA. New Beginning represents a non-medical approach to alcohol and drug addiction. Spirituality is at the heart of this self-governing, spirit-centered community. The program embraces the individuality of each person and offer a safe environment of prayer, study, work and rest that will bring spiritual and emotional healing. We are a nonprofit human service organization that serves all those in need, we do not discriminate. Our facility features a main lodge, guest rooms with private and semi baths, a large country-style dining room, a well appointed meeting/reception room, a full service commercial kitchen, quiet rooms, and a laundry facility. The facility also has a host of recreational amenities including a world-class gym. New Beginning is the answer when insurance funding is inadequate, exhausted or not an option. Those suffering from addiction are educated about the problem of addiction, the solution to addiction, and the program of action that leads to a lifetime of recovery. Our unique approach includes interactive recovery workshops, anger management, living skills, daily 12-step meetings, Nationally Certified Recovery Coaches, Family Recovery Coaches, Gambling Addiction Coaches, Anger Management Practitioners (Will satisfy court orders), Certified Interventionists,Certified Case Managers, Life Coaches, Christian Coaches, and much more.
