Sagar Agro, we endeavor to bring you a range of wholesome food products grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides and GM seeds. We promote Non-Pesticide Management of Agriculture (NPM); a sustainable alternative to high-cost high-input agriculture. We work with over 15,000 smallholder farmers who are members of 15 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) spread across 5 states. A majority of these farmers are women and lack access to organized markets. Our farmers are hedged from the risks of high input conventional farming while being assured of comparable productivity and volumes. They benefit from lower input costs and our transparent pricing mechanisms. The farmers receive the price quoted in the closest organized market platform (APMC) at their farm gate. In the majority of the cases, our interventions have led to a rise of 20-25% in farmers' income.
