Pi Beta Phi Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for women, which was the first greek letter women's fraternity. Pi Beta Phi has initiated more than 200,000 women since its founding in Monmouth IL in 1867, and currently has more than 139,000 living alumnae, including 15,000 undergraduate members in 134 chapters across the United States and Canada. Pi Beta Phi Foundation enables the Fraternity to realize its vision and ensures the future of its sisterhood. Targeting education, leadership and philanthropy, the Foundation seeks to impact Pi Phis, the Fraternity, and the communities in which Pi Phis live and serve. In the last fiscal year, Pi Beta Phi Foundation provided more than $800,000 in support for a variety of programs, including scholarships, leadership programming, emergency assistance, Fraternity grants and literacy funding.
