Mid North Coast Community College offers an integrated approach to education and training for all. The college provides opportunities for personal enrichment including literacy assistance, youth programs, programs for people with disabilities and mental health challenges. Business and industry training is the realm of SkillsLink Training, our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and includes hospitality, retail, events, project management, business administration, small business and general business. Nationally accredited courses, customised skill-sets and non-accredited courses designed to answer the specific needs of businesses. Our health and community training programs include aged & disability care, mental health, early childhood education and care, aquatics and community recreation, and general community services. Trendz hair & beauty offers a range of beauty industry programs in Port and Coffs. Our MakerSpace zones offer Stepping Up and Jump Start industry preparation programs in Building & Construction, Landscaping & Horticulture, small motor maintenance and other hands-on practical skills. We are also building our offer in Creative Arts, painting and sculpture, fashion & textiles and graphic design, or creative writing and drama and vocal recording activities. The Strive program offers special activities for people living with challenges, such as disability, mental health issues, trauma, redundancy or unemployment and includes our existing Absolutely Everybody Choir; and Life Skills Express, which is a fun-based program of support for life skills development. Nautilus Senior College offers an accredited Year 9 – 10 specialist assistance school with vocational program and self-development opportunities. Our aim for 2019 is to cement our lifelong learning mantra firmly across all ages and we will be offering a before and after school care facility and weekend children's activity centre.
