Mona Moon Naturals was created and inspired after my sister's diagnosis. In 2015 she was diagnosed with breast cancer, specifically LCIS-lobular carcinoma in situ. Her cancer was estrogen based and we learned that many body care products, home cleaning products and plastic storage containers are made with chemicals that are hormone disrupters. We eliminated MANY products from our homes and began finding and using safer, natural and chemical free products, including deodorant. After trying several products, I was introduced to a DIY deodorant paste from a mom at my son's school and it worked great. I began making and modifying the recipe for my own use. Soon I had close friends and their friends asking for the product. The deodorant is a paste, and you apply with your fingers. I tell everyone that while applying, take a few extra seconds to check your lumps and bumps under your arms and your breasts. Know your body.
