Founded in 2002, The YP Foundation (TYPF) is a non-profit organization that aims to empower young people to access critical information about their health, education, and rights in order to enable them to analyze and use this information for their development and to become successful advocates for rights of other youth. Since initiation, the organization has worked directly with over 6500 young people across its programme divisions using peer led methods of implementation and community engagement.TYPF is presently running 6 programmes that engage young people from low resource and marginalized backgrounds on issues of gender and sexuality, life skills and leadership, women's rights and digital media, mental health, and challenging masculinity. TYPF further partners with community based organizations in the National Capital Region, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Rajasthan across its programmes.
