< sudo -upgrade your coding skills!>BOSS (Bennett Open Source Society) is an initiative of students of Computer Science Students of Bennett University to promote Open Source and generate a coding atmosphere. We, the society members organize weekly open source contributing sessions. In which we sit individually or in teams and contribute to open source by fixing bugs, developing projects and researching. At BOSS we also organize a mentor-ship program in which an expert of particular domain, mentors different students in the particular domain. As rightly said, "If one wants to master a skill he should teach it." so there is a win-win situation on both sides. After the mentor-ship program we make communities out of those students. Now as communities they can contribute to open source and also work on large projects.
