Our company (Amelia NV) was founded in 1999 as a result of an increasing international demand for easy to use and ready made Starcloths. Back in those days, the Starcloths were heavy fibre optic curtains or pea bulb curtains.Our first product was the ShowLED Classic curtain. This system provided a solid solution meeting the demands from the industry professionals for a flexible cost effective Starcloth. In the years that followed, Classic LED backdrops became the industry standard. A market driven requirement lead to our RGB Chameleon system being developed in 2005. The Chameleon's full colour spectrum opened new markets for ShowLED. Designers saw possibilities in this colour changing backdrop giving an extra dimension to their designs.As LED technology developed, we invented the Animation system where the RGB LEDs could be controlled individually. This product broadened our clientele, from our traditional clients (theatres, rental/production companies and TV studios) to include big event organisers, night clubs, festivals and others who saw the ‘creative' possibilities in our products. Our company name became ‘ShowLED' as this encapsulated everything we do.In 2011, ShowLED moved to new premises in the United Arab Emirates as we had increasing demand for bigger curtains, new production methods and we wanted to manufacture our high quality products cost effectively. We still have Amelia NV in Belgium as our R&D centre.Our custom engineering and flexible approach allow us to ‘morph' our technology and products to other market sectors – retail spaces, F&B outlets, outdoor displays and architectural centre pieces.Our latest innovation is the Dexter family of products; IP67 outdoor rated LED ‘Media Facades' solution with full video integration. We provide a unique ‘canvas' for buildings that enhances the architecture with brand recognition and revenue generation possibilities.We have Creative LED Solutions to meet your requirements!
