IHRD established Regional Centre at Edapally, Ernakulam Dist on 1995. IHRD RC offervarious revenue generating programs which includes, Internship programs forB.Tech/M.Tech students, On Job Training-OJT Programs for Vocational Higher Secondary School-VHSE students and various training programmes to employees of Govt Departments etc. IHRD RC Edappally is designated as one of the Project Guidance Centres of IHRD and is offering Project mentoring to BSc/BTech/MTech students. IHRD started a PMD-Production and Maintenance Division to provide service on maintenance of Computers and its peripherals at RC Edappally as per Pro.No.DA2/13637/15/HRD dt 11.06.2017 as IHRD is designated as a Total Solution Provider at RC Edappally as per order No. GO(MS) No.13/2000/ITD dt 28.07.2000 and started its functioning from 2017. RC Edappally is co-orinating the ecourt project sanctioned to IHRD from 2018 onwards. Entrepreneurial Training Programme for Scheduled Caste Communities to produceDigital Thermometers" and Entrepreneurial Training Programme for Scheduled Tribecommunities to produce Solar Lanterns/LED bulbs for Lighting Applications in association with CMET under Ministry of Electronics & Information technology, Govt of India is also in progress at RC Edappally
