PWEA Mission Statement -- Enhance the knowledge and abilities of Pennsylvania's wastewater professionals, promote sound water policies, and promote public awareness of the need to protect water quality.Value of Membership -- The PWEA membership is comprised of approximately 2,000 professionals involved with the water and wastewater industry in Pennsylvania. The PWEA is a Member Association of the Water Environment Federation, which is a not-for-profit association that provides technical education and training for thousands of water quality professional who clean water and return it safely to the environment. PWEA and WEF members have proudly protected public health, served their local communities, and supported clean water since 1928.
