Mary's Shelter is a transitional home that provides residential and non-residential services for pregnant women and women with newborns. Many of the women who seek assistance from the Mary's Shelter are in need of a supportive environment because they lack suitable housing or favorable family relationships. All pregnant women who are 18 or older are welcome regardless of race, religion or nationality. \\In addition to providing shelter, Mary's Shelter of the Treasure Coast prepares mothers for independent living situations and works with them to build a vision of hope for their future through empowerment, education and training. Since opening in 2010, Mary's Shelter of the Treasure Coast has helped hundreds of women and babies. All of the mothers assisted have left the shelter as stronger, more independent women. It is our goal that all women will leave with an education, employment, positive parenting skills to live independently. We provide women mentoring, counseling, education and spiritual foundation on which to draw from and guide her to be a successful individual and parent.
