"Direct access" - Is this a familiar term? This means that a patient may be seen by a Physical Therapist directly, right off the street, without a referral (a.k.a script) from a physician. Although a PT will never claim to be a medical doctor (M.D.), they are trained in diagnostic procedures to determine if a patient has a more serious problem that requires a physican's intervention. More insurance companies are paying for this, and if they are not, often times a session of PT will be less than or equal to the co-pay from an insurance company. So, if you have something slowing you down, causing you pain, or hampering your life, come see a Physical Therapist today and, as the American Physical Therapy Association slogan says, "Move Forward."Mission Statement To be the provider of choice for physical therapy services to the central PA region offering evidenced-based practice, clinical excellence, and prompt friendly service that will maximize our friends and families ability to function independently so that they will tell their family and friends of our services.
