This may include testing and treatment completed by a Quantitative EEG (QEEG) or Brain Mapping, which is a test that provides information about the brain's functionality. QEEG can also be used for the purpose of determining psychiatric medication sensitivity. This is especially beneficial in those people who have tried and failed multiple medications and medication combinations. Neurofeedback is a non-medication based intervention that focuses on retraining the brain to function more optimally and is considered an effective therapy tool in conjunction with other therapy programs; such as, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
