The County Attorney, Michael Conlon, is a constitutionally elected official and is the chief law enforcement officer in the County. The County Attorney is charged with the prosecution of felonies and misdemeanor appeals from the district courts. The office works in conjunction with the State Attorney General's Office, Sheriff's Department, New Hampshire State Police and local police departments to prosecute crimes committed within Hillsborough County.
