PT Dairi Prima Mineral (DPM) is an underground zinc mining project located in the Sopokomil area of the Dairi Regency which is part of the Indonesian province of North Sumatra. In addition to mining zinc sulfide ore, DPM will mine as secondary ores, galena which is the mineral form of lead sulfide and silver. The project is 80% owned by PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk and 20% by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM). DPM holds a Contract of Work (CoW) which was granted by the Government of Indonesia (GOI) on February 18th, 1998.Under the terms of its CoW, DPM explores for minerals in a 27,420 hectare area located in the North Sumatra and Nangroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) provinces. On 23 July 2012, the GOI issued the Company's Borrow-Use Permit that clears the way to commence development and production of the mine. Pre-development planning continues at present.
