The site for Victoria's newest township is inspired. Once part of the Staughton family's 'Exford Run' pastoral empire first established in 1842 and spanning 100,000 acres (40,500 hectares) at its peak, Eynesbury today comprises over 18,000 acres (7,285 hectares) of mixed-use farmland that has carried up to 30,000 head of sheep during its wool-growing past.
