The Maria Montessori School is a nonprofit, non- sectarian, nondenominational school, made up of pre-school, kindergarten and Montessori transitional classes (ages 6-12). Throughout all of our programs, we are concerned with the child's individual rate of development. Our emphasis is high academics, with an enlarged science department; a complete music program including singing, instrument instruction and dance, five days a week; a physical education teacher with a master's degree; and a summer program. The Junior High has Internet-ready laptops for the students' use. Modern technology, health services, transportation and books are all available from the school district. The building is five years old, state of the art with air-conditioning, sprinklers and a security system. The school is accessible from main arteries and accommodates parents before and after school from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
