The firm was founded in 2005, with a history that dates back to 1998, by a team previously employed by Commonwealth Trust Company and SMC Capital Inc., subsidiaries of Kentucky-based Commonwealth Bancshares. As of September 30, 2024, we manage more than $10.1 B in total assets* for a diverse mix of institutional clients. We offer separate accounts and sub-advised collective investment vehicles that allow us to serve clients around the globe. Our investment philosophy is based on our proprietary Absolute Value approach initially developed by the firm’s co-founders. The objective of Absolute Value investing is to provide attractive, sustainable returns over the long term.
