MSPV does not require patient contact, dyes, or ionizing radiation. MSPV immediately identifies which tissues have normal perfusion, and which tissues do not, giving the surgeon the opportunity to identify and correct perfusion problems at the time of the initial procedure. Certes™ resolves this dilemma by providing this new knowledge -- the actual dynamic physiology of blood flow distribution, and where it is normal and where it is not – to the surgical team in immediate real-time. No waiting for analyzed results, and no disruption to the procedure workflow with the use of the device. For patients, providers, and hospital systems this new knowledge enables better decision-making, and can reduce major complication rates and generate better healthcare outcomes and cost efficiencies.
