What began as a small clinic treating cancer patients has grown into a state-of-the-art cancer center housing more than 240,000 square feet of clinic and research space.\\In 2003, Lombardi's 'Comprehensive Cancer Center' designation (initially granted in 1990) was renewed by the NCI.
