Our doctor is passionate with one-on-one patient care and eager to participate, advise and develop future driven dental care technologies for achieving the highest patient care available. John F. Schondelmayer was born in Texas. Soon after, his family returned to their hometown of White Cloud. He attended both Ferris State University and The University of Detroit for his undergraduate education before entering University of Detroit's School of Dentistry. He has been practicing in White Cloud since 1981. Over the years, he has taken many continuing education courses to not only maintain his skills, but to enhance the high quality of care that he delivers to his patients. His mission is to constantly bring cutting-edge technologies to the people of White Cloud and the surrounding rural areas that some dentists in big cities have yet to offer–like laser-assisted dentistry, dental implants, and bone grafts. In addition, Dr. Schondelmayer was the first to introduce dental cone beam CT scanner technology in West Michigan. Dr. Schondelmayer is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Academy of General Dentists, Mid-American Orthodontic Society, SimPlant Academy, World Clinical Laser Institute, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In what little spare time he can find, John enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hiking, reading, and photography.
