Founded in 2013, State of State is a student-run organization at Penn State University, committed to facilitating a dialogue within the university community about important societal and Penn State-related issues. Originally formed as a vehicle for students to address the issues and concerns surrounding the Sandusky scandal, our organization continues to provide students and community leaders a venue for a constructive exchange of views and perspectives. This dialogue takes place during year-round interactive events and culminates each year in a spring conference which brings together student, faculty, administration, alumni, and community leaders to discuss a wide range of issues including, student life, mental health, race relations, and community outreach, just to touch on a few. Our goal is to bring together passionate change-makers who can make our community stronger and more successful. Join this ongoing conversation by participating in one of our many events or conferences. Details can be found on our website.
