Arooj was founded by Dr. Hemant & Dr. Shantala Vadeyar as a need to fulfil the requirement for quality & cost-effective home healthcare services in India. After practising in the UK for over 14 years, this doctor duo returned to India & realised the lack of proper post hospitalisation home healthcare facilities. They were then joined by Dr Payal Nikumbh as the third co-founder of Arooj Healthcare Pvt Ltd. With a motive to bridge this gap, the doctors came up with this initiative – Arooj! They are a team of dedicated consulting physicians, nurses, physiotherapists & other qualified staff trained to take care of patients who require assistance at home after discharge from a hospital.Arooj provides 24 hrs monitoring to patients, Home ICU setup, home physiotherapy treatment & home diagnostic facilities. The Arooj team knows the importance of treating critical patients who require extra care. Arooj is also specialised in providing Home Stoma-Care, Stroke Care, Mother-Child Care (post-delivery) & Cancer Care.Currently serving Mumbai, Navi Mumbai & Thane in Maharashtra, Arooj aims to expand & cover other cities to help patients recover peacefully.
