Prior to launching M.PATMOS, Marcia Patmos was co-founder of cult-favorite cashmere brand Lutz & Patmos. In addition, sustainable and eco-friendly practices are used whenever possible in the manufacturing and sourcing processes. In 2011 M.PATMOS was awarded the prestigious Ecco Domani Fashion Fund Award. In 2012, M.PATMOS received acknowledgement for environmentally friendly design practices by CFDA/Lexus Eco-Fashion Challenge, and was named one of the "top 50 most innovative fashion companies in the world" by Fast Company magazine. In March 2015, M.PATMOS won the 2015 International Woolmark Prize.
