ACE-AFSCME Local 2250's history begins in 1967, when three maintenance workers in Prince George's County came together to organize for better pay and vacation. Since then, the local has grown to represent nearly 6,000 school support workers in Prince George's County Public Schools, ranging from bus drivers to paraprofessional educators to secretaries. We are dedicated to fighting for and supporting workers, and we believe in the value of public education and the workers who make it possible.
