ToolBox is a community commerce startup helping India's 100 million strong skilled workforce with their business purchasing needs. Our users primarily include electricians, carpenters, plumbers, fitters, consumer appliance technicians and small real estate contractors who don't shop online and rely mostly on their social circle to make buying decisions. We are replicating this offline behaviour into an online social buying experience. Most of the products purchased by the skilled workforce are from the unorganized sector. Products such as wires, switches, plywood, pipes, sanitary ware, pumps, water purification, solar and IT equipment spares have several thousands of local manufacturers & importers with many sellers providing substandard or fake products. We help our users to connect to relevant social groups that improve trust while buying online, and also get feedback from friends who have experienced the product first hand.
