We are Seattle's premier women's tackle football team playing 11-on-11 full pad American Tackle football. With 13 seasons of play under our belt, we have consistently delivered excellent results for our fans.We were established in 2002 as the Tacoma Majestics. The team went 24-2 in our first three years of existence, making it as far as the Western Conference Championship game in 2005. In 2006, the Tacoma Majestics merged with the Seattle Warbirds, moved the team to Seattle, and became the Seattle Majestics. From 2006 to 2011 we held an impressive record of 49-15 including six division titles, one conference championship, and one national championship. In 2012, we acquired new owners whom established a new look that gave our organization alignment with other professional teams in the Greater Seattle area. This new look included the unveiling of our new logo, uniforms, and mascot, Kitty. Since 2012, we have upheld our winning record with three more division titles, and another conference championship appearance. As of September 2014, we went through a structural change and officially became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Under this new structure, we hope to establish a viable organization through the help of donors and sponsors alike. Being a 501(c)3 non-profit organization will allow us to better raise funds to attract the best talent women's football has to offer. It is important to note we play in the Women's Football Alliance (WFA) and are among the top teams in the nation. Our players are deeply committed to their sport with practices starting in January, regular season running April through June, and post-season play running July through August. As part of the Seattle Majestics organization, players not only spend countless hours in practice, games, and in studying film, they also donate hundreds of hours a year to their community. Our organization makes appearances at local elementary schools and Boys & Girls Clubs to promote athletics for women and girls; donates time to organizations like the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, and Make-A-Wish to name a few; and gives back in many other ways.
