OrderPaper Nigeria is Nigeria's premier, preeminent policy think-tank and multi-platform legislative interface. OrderPaper Nigeria is a duly registered media dedicated to reporting, tracking, analyzing and archiving activities of the legislature in the digital age while providing authentic and independently-driven linkages between citizens and representatives in parliament.OrderPaper Nigeria is founded on a vision to bridge the gap between people and parliament and is driven by a mission to be the most authoritative organization of choice and reference for parliamentary reporting, legislative analysis and public policy advisory in Nigeria. OrderPaper Nigeria designs educative and interactive programmes and activities which are implemented both online and offline to provide for inclusion and citizen participation in the democratic process. It convened the Gallery Colloquium on September 26, 2016 at the prestigious Abuja Sheraton Hotel and Towers with the theme, ‘Reforming the Budgetary Process for Accelerated National Development.' Towards fulfilling our gap-bridging role, we created the OrderPaper Citizen Community of Practice (OCCP) to (i) explore co-creation opportunities in furtherance of parliamentary reporting and education; and (ii) activate the agency of responsible citizenship to promote accountability from legislators. The OCCP offers attractive membership opportunities for citizens to have a say in our service delivery, and how that enables them to demand accountability from representatives in parliament. OrderPaper Nigeria is a member of the Leaks platform and the Coalition for Whistle Blower Protection and Press Freedom, alongside other renowned media and civil society organizations in Nigeria. The Coalition is on the fore-front of pushing for a legislative framework for whistle-blowing whilst providing a uniquely secure and independent platform for the anti-corruption war in the country.
