Mater Dei Juan Diego Academy is the first Catholic school in San Diego to offer a 50/50 dual language Spanish/English immersion curriculum. All students receive 50% of their instruction in Spanish and the other 50% in English. Students have a core Spanish language teacher and a core English language teacher. The overall goal is to develop fully bilingual, biliterate and bicultural students.
