The First Cost of Freedom is Supporting Our Veterans!™ We have reached a crisis point with the Protectors of Liberty and Freedom our Veterans and their families. We need your help with this mission. The VA's focus on psychotropic drugs is one of the leading causes of the 22-30 daily Veteran suicides. Suicide ideation is one of the effects of these drugs along with heart, kidney, thyroid and liver damage. Why would anyone prescribe 5-25 drugs daily for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) when there are drug-free alternatives?Team Veteran Foundation's (TVF) mission is to bring a permanent end to the 22-30 daily Veteran suicide epidemic (https://tvfaz.org/). One of the cornerstone services of the TVF Wellness Clinics is the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) chambers for the treatment of the physical brain injuries suffered during a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). There are NO double-blind studies that prove the efficacy of psychotropic drugs for the treatment of TBI (all 50 drugs are "off-label" for TBI) and only 4 are "on-label" to treat PTS.The TVF Wellness Clinics will utilize Integrative medicine therapies focusing on the use of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) chambers to treat Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Once the brain injury is physically healed then other non-drug therapies to treat Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) can be utilized. The founder of Team Veteran Foundation is a survivor of a near fatal Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and underwent emergency brain surgery on 11/5/2002. On 09/21/2015 he started the recommended 40 1-hour "dives" in a multiplace Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy chamber and finished the 40th dive on 11/13/2015. The TBI negatively impacted his cognition and the HBOT dives returned his cognition to normal or better. We are partnering with Team Veteran LLC (TVet) because TVet's mission is to create funds for legitimate Veteran nonprofits that is completely different than the common fundraising methods.
