Connecting Territories is a social business with a positive impact. We believe that exchanges between people are capable of transformation. We believe that culture provides dialogue, breakdown of stereotypes, and greater understanding among people everywhere. From the experiences these exchanges happen in a positive way. What moves us We provide experiences of rapprochement between individuals and traditional communities such as quilombolas, natives and urban communities, bringing different histories and cultures together from community-based tourism experiences. We also seek the approximation of the afro-diaspora heritage, through cultural events and workshops. Our mission is to make visible the history and culture of local communities and the heritage of afrodiaspora in different territories. How we do Conectando Territórios seeks to offer experiences of approaching Brazilian cultural diversity and the Afro Diaspora. Our community-based tourism experiences are important for approaching the knowledges and achievements of these communities, visibility of their history and social sustainability culture. Community-based tourism provides for the maintenance of these communities in their own territories, providing another income-generating alternative for the communities.
